Meet Dr Cleland

MBBS PhD FRACS

Dr Cleland is a Specialist Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgeon based in Adelaide, South Australia and specialises in facial plastic surgery procedures (rhinoplasty, facelift and facial rejuvenation surgery).

Dr Cleland completed medical school in 2006 at the University of Adelaide and was subsequently selected to train in the speciality of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, during which time he also completed a PhD in sinus surgery and published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles – click here. This work saw him receive several accolades including the American Rhinologic Society Research Award, University of Adelaide Dean’s commendation and the University Doctoral medal. It was during these formative years that Dr Cleland developed a deep interest in facial plastic surgery.

After gaining Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Dr Cleland then undertook further post-fellowship training in facial plastic and cosmetic surgery in Perth, Australia with International Federation of Facial Plastic Surgery Societies past president Dr Tuan Pham and Dr Cary Kailis. After this Dr Cleland then completed a travelling fellowship in the USA, training in advanced techniques from world leading surgeons in the following locations:
